Relief from Stress, Anxiety and Physical Discomfort

Stress and Anxiety could make us feel disillusioned and stuck into ‘the blame game’. When we blame events, random situations or any other life experience, we turn ourselves into a victim. Our focus is fixed on outside events that we believe made the problem and the cause of our bad luck. If these events are reoccurring then it’s time for us to think differently and do something to steer our course rather than continue drifting along like a boat without a rudder.

Stress and Anxiety can disrupt our thought patterns and exaggerate how we think about events before they have happened. For example, before a meeting we may sometimes prepare an argument in our minds because we expect someone to disagree with our points of view; we are now in victim mode and on the defensive and may appear unnaturally weak or over protective of our views.  We must take responsibility for the way we think and learn how to restructure our thoughts so that we can value ourselves and not expect and project being a continual victim in someone else’s game.

Stress and anxiety may be treated in some instances by training the mind to focus on positive outcomes and visualising possible solutions. A willingness to follow my suggestions and attempt the homework is important. Also, I am an experienced energy therapist and on occasion it may be beneficial to support the client with this treatment.
